Looking To The End: Remembering the True Mission of a Catholic school

Talk Description

For those of us who have been in and around Catholic schools for much of our lives, we can fall into a habit of thinking that schools are made Catholic by requiring uniforms, religion classes, and – for the parents – fundraisers.

What we need is not to abandon these features of our schools, but to remember the reason for their presence. The Augustine Institute’s Professor Christopher Blum will endeavor to rekindle your appreciation for the true significance of a Catholic school, with the help of Sacred Scripture and the witness of the saints.
